HISTORY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF BAYERN MUENCHEN
Bayern Munich was previously a sports club called MTV 1879. However, after a dispute between club management and players from MTV 1879 Munich at the bar Gisela in Schwabing, 11 players decided to break away and form their own club under the management of Franz John on 27/02/1900. The name chosen for the new club is FC Bayern Munich. This was the start of a unique success story.
The name itself literally actually shows their regional origin which, when translated into English, becomes Bavaria Munich. In Germany, the name Bayern Munich is used, but the international public is used to calling it Bayern Munich.
Franz John
Victory in 1932 at Nurnberg in the final against Eintracht Frankfurt was the first of a total of 20 titles won. FC Bayern Munich did not participate when the Bundesliga was formed. But in 1965, the club was promoted and became the number three on the next season and has since become a permanent member of the Bundesliga, won 21 Bundesliga titles and victories put this club from the Bundesliga main diurutan. So far, FC Bayern Munich is the most successful club.
Bayern Munich's first hundred years – Its history and success story begins and ends with the name Franz. Is it a coincidence that it was Franz John who founded FC Bayern and a century later, a different Franz, this time it was Beckenbauer who led Bayern Menchen to become a respected and ideal club with a pile of titles behind him in the new century, as its president.
Many things that distinguish the past and present. Franz John founded and built Bayern from the ground up and was relatively pleased with Bayern's 7-1 win in his first match against his previous team, MTV 1879. But John also provided this charismatic club with its first uniqueness.
In the beginning, people knew it as FC Bayern, then as Schwabinger Bayern, because it was seen from the unique hats of the players. In his time, Franz Beckenbauer helped Bayern Munich become what it is today: an international club with millions of fans, an institution that reaches far beyond German football.
Never in his wildest dreams did Franz John imagine that his team would become German champions, European Cup champions and even winners of international club championships.
