God, there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Subsisting. No year overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is there who can intercede with Him except when For He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not encompass any of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne encompasses the heavens and the earth, and it is not difficult for Him to preserve them. And the Most High, the Great

"Allah, there is no God (who has the right to be worshiped) but He Who Lives forever and continues to manage (His creatures); not drowsy and sleepless. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on earth. No one can intercede with God without His permission? Allah knows what is in front of them and what is behind them, and they do not know anything from Allah's knowledge except what He wills. God's seat covers the heavens and the earth. And God does not find it difficult to preserve both of them, and God is High and Great"

In it there are 3 types of tauhid: rububiyyah tauhid, uluhiyah tauhid, and the tauhid of God's name and attributes.

Ibnu Katsir in his interpretation explained, "this verse of the chair has a very great position. In the authentic hadith from the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, it is mentioned that it is the greatest verse found in the Qur'an" (Tafsir Al-Quran Al-'Azhim).

There are many advantages to the chair verse. The author will explain just some of the virtues of the chair verse.
1. The Greatest Verse in the Quran

As in the question posed by the Messenger of Allah to Ubay bin Ka'ab, "Which verse is the greatest in the book of God?" Ubay replied, "Ayat kursi." So he, Shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, patted Ubay's chest and then said, "O Abu Mundzir, may you be happy with the knowledge you have." (HR. Muslim).

The Kursi verse is categorized as the greatest verse because it contains the greatest names of Allah, namely Al Hayyu and Al Qayyum. However, scholars disagree about which name of Allah is the greatest.
2. His majesty is beyond Heaven and Earth

Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah did not create the heavens and the earth greater than the greatness of the Ayat Kursi (because in that ayat it includes the Names and Attributes of Allah)"

Sufyan at-Tsauri said, "Because the kursi verse is (one of) kalamullah (words of God), while kalamullah is greater than God's creation in the form of the heavens and the earth" (HR. At-Tirmidhi)
3. One of the Dzikr readings before going to bed

Rasulullah Shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "When you go to bed (at night), recite the Ayat Kursi, Allah will always protect you and the devil will not approach you until morning" (HR. Al-Bukhari).

Make the kursi verse a routine dhikr that is read when going to sleep. In addition, the kursi verse also includes morning and evening dhikr readings.
4. One of the Reasons to Go to Heaven

Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever recites Ayat Kursi after finishing the prayer, there is nothing to prevent him from entering paradise except death" (HR. An Nasa-i, judged authentic by Shaykh Al-Albani).

Some hadiths above show the importance of Ayat Kursi. When we routine it, then we will get a lot of priority. Every Muslim should be enthusiastic about things that benefit him, especially for the afterlife. Ayat Kursi itself is not a long and difficult verse to memorize. May Allah make it easy for us to practice it. Allahul Muwaffiq.
